i wouldnt reccomend getting a remote start for your car just for the fact that its manual, even the manufacturers of the alarms say that you shouldnt put remote starts on manual cars, because one day you just might leave it in gear and you go to start it up with your remote and BOOM there goes your front end. If i were you id get the Viper Responder, thats what i have and it is a 2-way remote, works real good.

Deciding not to create a new thread, I choose to ask this question here: what would I need, in terms of install (tools, equipment etc.) to make use for this alarm/remote start system?: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

Any help would be appreciated and also if anyone knows if eBay is a good place to purchase this system or is there somewhere else you guys reccomend buying it from... thanks in advance.

i would have to say get it pro done. installing a system as such takes a ton of knowledge and is best left to the pros.unless of course you really want to/want to learn

^ I agree.

If your asking about tools, etc.. to install an alarm, your not ready to install one.

1. Do you know about positive and negative triggers? And the difference between the 2?

2. Do you know how to use a DMM?

3. Do you know how to properly wire up a relay?

4. Do you know how to properly make connections to the existing wiring in a car?

If you can't answer yes to all the questions above, your not ready.

Not trying to discourage you, but realize what your getting into.
