They are not the cigg. lighter powered lights...I took off the whole panel and double tape the leds on all 4 vents (driver side, two middle, and passenger ) its all wired from the back to the fuse for the headlights so when you turn on your headlights to drive at night it goes on with the indiglo. Got them for 8 bucks, cheap mod
heating is nothing compared to teh heat htey get from a soldering gun, theyll be fine.

Lol. We all need a little rice in us...as for getting tired of it im sure I will one day but for now its something new and i have been flat broke for months now so any mod will satify the craving
You should make it on a seperate switch so they are not always on. Not to mention if I cop sees it, atleast in FL, you get in trouble for that.
Although I like it.
i agree... having them on a separate toggle switch is the way to go. kinda funky mod.
dont flame the poor guy... he's just trying to personalize his cam the way he wants it. he clearly has the knowledge to do it... so he can undo it if he decides he doesnt like it. to each his own.
and about the heat, sure LEDs can stand a sodering gun b/c the heat is only on the wires not the LED. LEDs are quite heat sensitive, and on another lighting forum (w/a LED forum), many ppl did the same thing and many expierenced dead LEDs from the heat; but since u know how to kinda quickly undo it u shouldn't worry that much, esp. since summer is here!
