Just test drove new Camry!
WOW - just drove the new 2005 Sportivo yesterday after my earlier post and I tell you, it's really benefitted from Toyota's Formula 1 program! The handling, those brakes nearly popped my eyes out and the engine power is really impressive - all the way to the redline! I see now why F1 went to fully automatic gearboxes (even thought they are banned now) as it's so much easier to control that powerful engine!
I mean, I've got some considerable experience in driving fast cars in my time (I used to own a VL after my fisrt car, a Volvo 122 S) and I've decided that I'm going to ditch the turbo mod to my 2001 wagon and buy one of these!
Toyota is so far ahead with this car, I can see it being snapped up for racing at some point - it should be like the BMW M3R that was made in limited numbers in that you required a racing licence before they would sell one to you!
Does anyone else have experience driving this model? I think I'll need to do some more driver training so I can handle this beast properly.
