Finally 3vz-fe intake?

Hope this isn't a repost.

I was browsing ebay and saw this. Am I late with this?

No more DIYs? I was in the middle of my DIY and came across this. I just canceled my parts order and I'm gonna buy it. Less hassle. Very easy to turn it into a CAI. Now you don't have to worry about cutting holes into a tube and all of that junk.

Yeah. I already got a CAI with the MAF plate but the thing is that I have the stock 3" rubber hose there. I just wanted to replace that. The thing that caught my attention is that they have aluminum tube that runs between the throttle body and the AFM. The CAI was a pain in the as though so the hard part is out of the way. Does Akimoto make that pipe? I didn't think any company did.

I've never seen that pipe for a 3VZ, only for the 1MZ. The diff is that the 3VZ has the two hoses going into it, where the 1MZ only has 1. For $26, that's not bad at all cuz it was a bitch to make those two nipples. The coupler's cost $10 each, but they don't say anything about giving you the MAF adaptor. Weird.

Funny, looks like MY intake!

LOL. whatsup henry? You were the one that gave me the idea of the DIY. You did it so perfectly. That's exactly how I was trying to make my engine bay. Now I think everybody knows what I'm talking about. That metal tube that has the two hoses coming out of the sides is what I'm talking about. Thanks for putting that pic up. Buying that tube on Ebay will save a lot of time and effort.

When I contact the company to order the tube for my DIY, everything would have come out to be $45 not including the filter or the silicone hose. So I'm saving some money and I'm saving time from messing up. They just put a breather filter where the smaller silicone hose goes.

lol. I used to bug henry all the time with questions on his site a couple years ago.
