After much debate I have decided. I am going to sell the "Toy Cam" and my corolla GTS.
I am going to be buying an S2000. I haven't been around the forums for a while but, I am sure some of you TN & SC3 veterans know me. I've been modding my camry for 5 years now.
I need some help on determining it's "value". I am not looking to make a lot of money on it, I just want to sell it to someone who will take care of it and enjoy it as much as I have. What do you think I could sell it for? Or... if you want it. make an offer.
Here are some of the specs:
- 1996 5s-fe 115,000 miles gen 3.5
- Custom Paint
- Molded side skirts and back bumper
- Precisely fitted front bumper (looks molded)
- Molded rubber door protecting on doors (ugly rubber thingy)
- Molded roof antena
- VIS Carbon Fiber Hood
- 18" niche flash wheels (just hit a pot hole and one is leaking now *&%$#@!) haven't
checked it out yet. Center caps are not on in the picture.
- Custom Stereo Install 2 12's and amps infinity kappa 3-way mids
- tv on dash
- leather seats
- cold a/c
- runs great
- turns heads
- wins trophies
Thanks for the
pics to come of the custom corolla GTS

Wow, it's sad to see that must people are giving up on their Camry's and selling them, although after riding in a STI I've been thinking about it also.

Nice ride, hopefully it goes to somebody that'll take care of it. I'm also selling my Camry right now in hopes of buying a '92 Honda Prelude SI with 4WS. Hopefully it doesn't sell by the time I sell my car.
sorry to hear you are parting ways with your camry. Me, I don't think I could, after all I owe nothing on it, total toy car at this point anyways, and it isn't my daily driver. good luck with the s2000
Thanks for the replies! I never thought that I could part ways with the camry and still don't. But, I live in florida and I don't think I would miss the camry if I am driving around in a convertable at the beach. I was never a huge fan of honda's either. Something about the S2K does it for me though...
Anyhow, anyone have an idea of what I could ask pricewise for the car? It is really hard for me to put a price on a car that has so much sentimental value. Like I said before, I'm not looking to make a lot of money on it.
realistically, 6-7 grand is a good area. keep in mind, most people dont care that it is all custom paint and body kit and wheels, they care that it is still a camry after that. AND a slow camry at that...

yeah i agree about 7 grand.
its really shame to see it go, it was one of my insperations that brought me to the camry side...

really!? thanks dude. means a lot.
This car is by no means fast. Never said it was. It looks really cool going slow anyhow. Turns heads every place I go.
I think I could gel with $6500. Seems fair to me. I will sell it for that. Anyone want it before I start listing it? I will probably list it for $7500 and come down to $6500. AutoTrader here I come. lol.
Leon,
You and I are on the same boat. Getting to the point of moving on. Let us know how your new car is. Take care. See you around.
