hmmm....no, that sounds pretty close....

I get about 100km to $10CND

so you're getting 160 km to $12.50CND

and yours is a 5 spd, so that kind of makes sense.....you DO know that gas prices are going up too, right?

On some cars, I dont' remember if my Gen 2 did this or not, but I know my Fox does, the needle will pretty quickly jump within 10% of where it was when you shut the car off, but it takes a few minutes to get to where it's realy accurate, and this lag probably makes you think you're losing fuel.

If your gas economy is suffering, drive slower

right now in RI gas is ~$2.25/gal. so $10 is only 4.45 gallons. so at about 20mpg thats about 80miles plus or minus a few.

is cost me $41 to fill up the other day so i figure it costs $10 per quarter tank... or $10 per 80-100 miles(360-400 per tank). your getting the right mileage.

i tend to get 400 outta a tank but i drive mostly highway. auto trans with 135k miles.

Don't worry Jagwire, I have the same problem as you. For a measely $10, I get around 80 miles. The only thing different from you is that I have a 4-cylinder engine and that shouldn't happen at all to me.
