Kyb-gr2

Ok, so I've been looking at the threads about struts and springs and stuff. And I came down with this: Kyb-gr2 and stock springs. The struts will be $234 with shipping. I need a new rear passenger strutmount but that it. Do you guys think this is a good move?

4th Generation

Hi,

Current setup on my 1999 Camry V6 is KYB GR-2 all around with Whiteline BTF-38 and BTR-39 anti-sway bars with Polyurethane bushings and using stock springs. The nice thing about the GR-2's is that they are compliant at low speeds, so if you have crappy roads like here in Southern California (Riverside, Moreno Valley) you won't be bounced around uncomfortably. Once you pick up speed and are making spirited maneuvers though, the GR-2's increase damping nicely. If you just cruise around town mostly, then the GR-2's will set you up pretty well. But if you need enhanced cornering ability, I'd recommend to upgrade your anti-sway bars too.
