seafoam on 1mz

I'm looking to verify the location of the brake booster vacuum hose on my 1999 V6. Consulted the manuals but didn't find a definitive answer. Does this hose extend from the large, black round object (brake booster?) behind the brake master cylinder and snake along the fire wall before connecting to the right side of the throttle body? Also, I read in the manual that the engine may have to be above a certain rpm in order for there to be vacuum. If I am right and I disconnect the hose at the booster end, the seafoam will be added directly into the throttle body from the side. Sound correct? Any 1mz experience would be helpful.

Answered my question with a good search. Jag - do a search for brake booster and click on a thread titled Seafoam posted by Canadiancelica. Shows the vacuum hose on a 4cyl but is in the same location on our V6. Driver's side with part on the firewall and connection to the lower part of the throttle body. Good luck!

did u guys do it already?

just be careful and read the directions and dont stick the vacuum hose into the seafoam can or it'll suck up the whole can instantly and could have a high possiblity of hydrolocking ur engine...

Good tip. I read that pouring about 5oz into the hose slowly would be a better way to go and that's what I intend to do. Good looking out. thanks
