2nd Generation Ignition o-ring \ startng her

I am leakin oil and im prety sure its the igntion o-ring, she sometimes dont like turning over, she idels real low at the start 200-800rpm and jumps up to 2000-2200 comes down is there too much oil in the egine, also sometimes on the hightway i catch the rmp arrow going up and down and levels out at a consitant rpm for the speed

anyone know if i should be gettin worried, not a mechanic and i luv my 87 camila

Remove the distributor cap. Check for oil inside the cap and inside the distributor.

Theres 2 o-rings. One of them is visible and easy to change, the other is not.

im curious my camry is a 87 and it is a automatic not a manul should that make any difference and not like im a mechanic but is the area were talkin about by the wire harnis or is it somewhere else in the engine
