Laptop to ECU

special hardware for laptop ? surely it can be done

For 3VZ-FE engines the SMT-6 is used. I also heard good things about SMT-7. If you just need AF management the S-AFC is good enough. What do you need this for? Did you do some porting?

There are several programs that allow PDA's to interface through the OBD-II port. If you find one that will run on a windows tablet, that will work from a PC too.

Standalone system, Pretty pointless if your not force inductioned tho. It's like 1000 bucks.

i was just wondering.. say change stock settings for more MPG.. or Racing .. Fuel Ratio's and whatnot.. Engine Temp.. and all at the click of a mouse.. instead of Buying a Diff computer to do it.. any Sites i could check out ?

Hey, check this out; Turbo XS is making an engine management system called DTEC that'll interface with a Gameboy Advance. http://www.turboxs.com/ I saw it in the June issue of Turbo.
