Depends on what you do... ie: drag, road race, street, show
But the rear sway bar made a HUGE difference for me. Along with the springs, struts. You can get good TIRES and still keep your factory wheels. Tires make a HUGE difference.

Do you currently, or in the past run N2O?

I have never ran it because my motor is a bit shot. I have to do a rebuild. I have all the aprts their, ready to spray, just when the motor is rebuilt, then i'll do it.
Thanks for not saying "NOS" or "NAWS". lol.

but thats how you say it on the west coast... naws.
here is the order in which mods should be done. in my opinion of course.
1. springs + struts
2. wheels + tires
3. Sway bars + Tower brace
4. save money
5. turbo kit or SC + intake + exhaust
6. fuel upgrades, gauges (may or may not come with turbo)
7. computer upgrades (piggyback for fuel/ignition or full ems depending on your needs)
7.5. tune tune tune tune tune
8. by now you will know exactly what you need to improve your car.
the reason i put #3 after #2 is because a lowered car looks dumb with stock wheels.
the reason i put intake and exhaust with #5 is that they really arent going to make too much of a difference on a stock motor. plus they usually sound dumb on a 4 cylinder. you can see some gain with intake/exhaust on a v6 though.

Well... NOS is Nitrous Oxide Systems.
N2O = Nitrous Oxide
It seems..... logical.

P.S. Thank you for replying to this thread. I plan on doing the mods.. and having fun along the way. I value the information here.. and that is why I put down cash to join.

You can get a strut tower brace for $20 shipped on eBay, and it only takes a few minutes to install. Some will argue as to the effectiveness, but for the price, why not? I don't have a RSB, yet, but will get one soon assuming that I keep the Camry. I see you've ordered both
I did a DIY CAI. It cost me around $100, and was worth every penny IMO. You can get thin-wall aluminum pipe off eBay. Combine that with some couplers and an elbow from Home Depot (or eBay), and a filter, polish it up, and you've got yourself a nice CAI.
I did things in this order Mostly Because of money.
1. Rims & Tires
The Rims and more show, but the tires make a huge difference in grip, my car sticks to the corners 100 times better than on its old sedan tires (plus the speed rating for 168mph means i don't have to worry when speeding on the freeway :p)
2. Strut Tower Bar
I could definately feel the difference after installing this as the reduced flex in the front end allowed me to be even more aggressive through the turns. While this isn't as drastic a difference in "feel" as the tires, it is cheap, easy to install, and IMO worth the money.
3. Air Filter
Only did this because at the time i couldn't find an intake that was CARB Legal. Very slight difference, barely noticable (and only at mid to high RPMs)
4. Muffler and Cat-Back Exhaust
Again not a huge difference, and its only felt at mid to high rpms, but it sounds and looks killer (once again in my opinion)
5. Struts and Springs (Not Yet Installed)
I'll tell you about the differences felt when i get em installed May 2.
Yea. I can definatly feel the difference in high speed cornering with an upper tower strut bar. I got an SPW in my Gen4, and it really decreases the chassis-bend when taking those tight turns. and it will only cost you $30-60 depending on where you buy and whaty kind you get (unless you go TRD, and then it runs over $100)

Tied for third
A) Y-Pipe for multiple bank engines
B) Porting & Polishing heads
4) ECU retuning (timing and fuel)
5) New Springs / Struts You can't really pick this one as many cars need new struts to begin with so...
