New guy with a question

I got a 93 Camry and I just got a 12" Kicker Solo Baric Square Subwoofer. I bridged it down to 1 ohm and now my headlights, sidemarkers, dash lights, etc. all dim when the bass kicks in. Anyone have any suggestions on what i could do. I will post some pics of my car when i get a chance. You can see the new guy's custom work!!!! Thanks

It depends on the size and brand. Anywhere between 1 C note to 2. Give Xenon a shout. Maybe he can hook you up 8)

If the dash lights are not dimming...

What about the headunit dimming? My friend's running a pair of 8's in his MR2, but when we either turn it up or when the bass kicks, the headunit blinks like a strobe. His dash and headlights are fine. Would it be a problem with the headunit? It's a 45X4 Pioneer headunit with a 260W MTX Thunder (4204, i believe)?

Sounds like it could be a problem with the head unit. How old is it ? If it's an older unit and has taken "abuse" then it's more likely to be the unit. It could also be due to a faulty wiring job and or old wires running from the unit to the battery. I would re-check connections...

Hey Shan, lemme ask you a question for change!
Where did you get your cap and what brand? That's a really good price for a 1 farad...was it brand new when you bought it?

Hey thanks for the advice from everyone. I think I will go buy a cap. Car Toys in Houston said I needed a cap and like some other cap with like 4 fuses in it with a whole bunch of crap. I dont know what I should do. I also was wondering how some of these Camry's have projector headlight conversions, can someone share where you can get them/ how to make them. Later
