Problem with a camry

Hello i have a problem with a toyota camry 89. Sudenly the car is not working properly, every time a press the acceleration pedal a bit fast it goes dead or almost. I really donno how to fix it, perhaps somone can point me on the correct direction

I would start with the ignition system. New plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. If it's a 3SFE engine (2 liter 4 cylinder) the plug wires and distributor cap are a 1-piece unit.

yea, it's got to be the spark plugs or some where in the neighborhood of it.

its cost next to nothing to do a basic tuneup on your car.(plugs, wires, cap/rotor) try that first and let us know if it helped any.

u may be able to skip the wires if they are too pricey but defintly get the plugs and cap/rotor.
