Question about off set...

Gen 4's have a 38mm offset. Can you go higher/lower with the off set or what is the deal with that? I'm not very knowledgable about the whole rim thing.

I got a question. I know 18's will fit the gen 3.5 camry but will they fit with a 1.2" Front - 1" Rear drop?

I don't think toyotas and nissans share the same bolt pattern, so NO regardless

what's 5 on 4.5 anyway???

not according to the Camry FAQ, says 38mm. but whatever.

the rims i really want have like...a 21mm offset. is that too much of a decrease? i dont really understand offsets and shit. dont know much about rims.

the rim size and offset are fine. it's the bolt pattern that may be the problem.. go to the tire rack website or similar and see what the the bolt pattern is for that nissan model..also, what year/model nissan

^ Check out the post by bluemeanie.

Higher offset means that the wheel sits more towards the car. In our case this also means the the backside of the wheel is closer to the strut.

Lower offset is the opposite. The wheel sits more towards the outside of the car.

Offset also changes with the width of the wheel. +38mm offset on a 7" wide wheel is different then a +38mm offset on a 8" wide wheel.

now the only thing you have to worry about is the offset

the gen3 has a stock 38 offset too....but with a 6" wheel if not a 5" wheel.....if you have a 7.5" wheel, you may have to runn skinnier tires to make it work, or else you may rub on the fenders

best way is to put them on the car and see
