New Gauges stopped lighting! I SEARCHED!!

i searched first (duh! i'm not a total noob) but didn't find anyting. Ok here's the situation.

Last night i took out my gauges to change them with the "Matrix 5 LED" 194 bulbs for the ones in the gauges. I took old ones out, soldered the contacts with the new LEDs and put them back in (i also changed the "140mph" 74). I test plugged them in to make sure they lit up and they all lit, beautifully (except for the 74 LED for the fan & temp select knobs i replaced, wasn't a huge deal for me). I also replace the shifter 194 w/an LED and everything in the dash lit up for a total of about 10 mins, which i thought was long enuf to make sure they worked properly...

Then i decided to replace the cig lighter, so i turned everything off, tested the bulb, and soldered the contacts (took about 5 minutes or so) and once i put the LED back in the cig lighter, connected everything, went to turn it on and test and nothing came on, except the warning lights (door open, seatbelt, etc.)...NOTHING CAME ON!! i then took the cig light LED out and still no light

So I checked all the fuses, including some that weren't even related. No luck. I checked the contacts on each bulb by itself then by having all in and just removing one at a time and also bench tested each bulb and each bulb lights up and i saw nothing wrong with the contacts. I have a spare dash w/spare dimmer switch so i tried that and jiggled around both dimmers to see if it was the dimmer. Still no light.

I believe i've told u everything...please guys...help me out...i don't wanna have to try and resolder in the old bulbs (esp. if the bulbs is not the problem)...

ok, somehow the tail fuse is tied into the cig lighter some how (i'm guessing thru the parking light function) and have the LED in the cig. lighter caused it to pop, b/c i tested it again once i figured the problem so i'm just not gonna have a light there...
