Throttle Body Spacer

This is probably a stupid question, but do you think this throttle body spacer would fit on the 2.2 5SFE, it says it will fit on the 2.4 and the 2.7. Does anyone know if the 2.4 and the 2.2 have the same throttle body, thanks in advance.

Didn't some guy make something that does that exact same thing that goes in the intake tube? The "Tornado" or something like that?

Cool

Throttle body spacers are a total waste of money.Of the entire intake system, the LEAST important parameter is the distrance between the valve and the throttle plate.

That being said, throttle body spacers CAN give very minor gains on a fuel system that injects fuel AT the throttle body.

Being:
Throttle body injection, and a carberator. Are the only people that can waste money on such items and not walk around in shame.

^^^ what he said, spacers and that "tornado" thing are a complete waste of time and cash. For what you would pay for one of those, go get you a K&N Filter and install it in your stock airbox

thats what i want, lots of air swirling inside the intake rather that going in a straight line through the throttle body and into the runner, ya think the air going 600mph past the throttle plate is even going to see those little threads much less take the hard right and follow them? Thell just pack with carbon anyways

Cool

No. Who wants to pay $100-150, and loose the throttle body for a week for a 1-2hp gain on a stock engine.

When you're running a s/c or turbo over 350hp, then it might gain you 5hp.
Your car/money, do it if you want.
