Lightweight wheel sizes

Okay everyone, I've been reading up on the lightweight wheel thing lately, and I couldn't seem to find any information about what is considered light for any certain size wheel. Looking for wheels on tirerack.com, I found some cheap wheels for my gen 3... 17x7 were 18.9 lbs and only $95 per wheel. And some 15x6.5 were 16.5 lbs. and $109 per wheel. I haven't decided if I want to go with big wheels yet, as you can see.

I guess what I'm asking is... What is considered lightweight for each size wheel?

Well, I have a set of 17x7.5 that weight about 13 lbs.... tires add A LOT to the weight of your rotating mass.

If you want lightweight and strong, you need to go forged, which mean $$$

if you can get 17x7 wheels at around 6kg that is light. otherwise just buy a smaller size and save some cash for other mods
