Dash and tail lights went out

My dash lights went out and on my way home I noticed a guy flashing his brights at me while he passed and then checked out my car when I got home and sure enough, my tail lights were out too. Please tell me this is just a blown fuse?

yup, sounds like it, if all lights went out at the same time...yea.

look to the left on dash, pull out that thing that seems to be a coin holder, follow the diagram for the right fuse. I'm sure it's there, if not, there is a second set of fuses under the hood, i believe right near the air filter and battery.

its the fuse in the coin box labelled "tail", and if thats not it then look for the "gauge" and if all else fails, just pull them all out and check and replace...

Well, we got the dash lights fixed with a new fuse. All of the other fuses were fine, but even after replacing the rear brake lights and rear running lights, they still do not work. The center brake light in the rear window, turn signals and side marker lights work, but not the running lights and brake lights. I just got pulled over two nights ago from the local sherriff who knows me too well for having a car that always has something burnt out and is going to give me a fine next time. I understand and know she has given me a few breaks but this is so frustrating after all the time I've spent trying to fix this and obviously I still need a car.
I made an appointment for it to go in next Tuesday, but that might be too late to save me from a fine and also might be spendy. Anybody have any idea what this could be? Something with the wires I suppose but that repair will probably be beyond me

the running lights inthe front, the running lights in the back, and the interiour guage lights are all on the same fuse line. so if they are all out then it's still the fuse if some still work and some are out, then check the bulbs indevidualy.

Yeah check your bulbs and if that doesn't work then I would say check your wiring.

same thing happened to me not too long ago, my problem was a short in my wiring casue the person who installed my cd player messed up and didint cover a few wires, and then it made a short and everytime i put new fuses in, they would blow instantly, so if you have just recently had something electric installed, then that may be where the problem is.

hope you get it fixed
