Energy Suspension Polyurethane bushings
I just called my Research & Development contact at Energy Suspension about the release of bushings for the rear motor mount and dogbone. All of the development work is done for these, I'm using the prototypes on my car now. He said he will probably release them as a kit with the motor mount along with the dogbone. Before they get released, you need to CALL AND REQUEST. He said if they never get any calls for them, they'll never get released. That's why the rear motor mount isn't available yet. I've had the rear motor mount for a year now. Everyone that is interested, please call them and ask for them. Don't just wait for everyone else or nobody will see them. With the combination of the Energy Suspension urethane rear motor mount bushing, dogbone bushings and Jim @ ForeignAffairs' torque rod, my engine is VERY steady. The difference is amazing and I'm still getting no vibration in the passenger compartment. Call Energy Suspension at (949)361-3935.
If you've never used any bushings from Energy Suspension I'll just say, the polyurethane that they use is great! It is soft enough to absorb vibrations yet firm enough to provide great control. They also have recently released bushing sets for the front and rear control arms. Part numbers 8.3117 and 8.3118 respectively. These were just recently released. -JoeB
