Fully Lit Brake Lights

Any way to make the WHOLEEE brake light light up ??... instead of just the outter part ? i want the WHOle thing to light up.. not just a piece of it.. look much cooler.. also.. is there anyway to make those lights Briter or maybe a different color ? (is it legal ) and do they make different color Brake lights .. anyway.. even if they have to stay Red..... do they make Brighter lights.. and if they dont.. is there a way to Manually make them brighter.. using an electric amp or something.. any help would be awesome thnkz

Blue LED..

Blue + Red (brake cover ) = purple
nothing special.. but VERY origanal

Yeah, I believe its illegal in all 50 states... I knew a girl that got ticketed for having pink tail lights.. but I'm pretty positive that you can illuminate the whole light... its just a matter of wiring it along the trunk.

have to custom mount some leds into it. the reflective portion has to be replaced with something else. ill look at my cam tonight and let you know.

but i want it BRIGHT.. so i need to wire in a LOT of LED's but i dont know about how to get into the Brake cover

if you really want that much attention to your brake lights, here is a stupid idea. Take the housing apart and rewire it to use 9006 or 9005 bulbs. You'll have to get a new harness that'll hold the 55W/65W respectivly, and also will have to make custom light sockets for the bulbs. All in all, you'll have crazy-bright brakelights, and will probably blind everyone behind you. What is wrong with the stock brightness? I can understand switching to LED, but why so bright? Do you really want that much red light behind you if you see a cop and you're running too fast and hit the brakes? IMO i'd want to make them dimmer, not brighter

there's a guy on www.hidforum.com that did that to his eclipse, but I don't have the time to dig up the link right this minute. He did custom LEDs and lit the entire center panel and everything, but I'm not sure if he's totally finished yet.

i honestly just want them a lil brither not Blinding Bright just the WHOLE thing to be light up.. instead of half of it.. cuz im ganna Thinn them out and make em look like Eyes with a Black Circle for the Pupil
