cracked arm console - what's best to do?

my little girl's were bouncing around in my 92 Camry on the weekend and managed to crack the plastic arm piece where the parking brake is and it looks pretty nasty now. I have never heard that happening first off and second what kind of strong adhesive can anyone recommend that can work on this? IS there anything I can do besides locking tying the kids up to prevent this in the future?

well...you can call junkyards and try to find one....judging by the age of your car....plastic is brittle and it might not mend well at all

hey, Knail, whatsup, bro? Good to see you again and thanks for the response. I was going to do the junkyard bit but a lot of trouble and I would have to get the colourmatch for my car too, which may be hard. Not many Camrys around out there.
When I push the crack together, it looks perfect so if I can get an excellent adhesive for it and keep my lil monsters off it, I should be ok and hope that it stays glued. Any success with adhesives out there?

well, you could use gorilla glue on it if you want to go that road...or personally, post your color...and maybe someone has it here...a few Gen3's are being parted out on the FS forum... good to hear from you man. Oh, and go to DKN this year, I'll be there for that one

u could use an epoxy(the kind where you have to mix the adhesive w/ a hardener). im sure home depot or the like will stock a ton of this stuff...maybe even "sprawl-mart" has it.

i like the idea of just replacing the piece though. like knailgun already mentioned. someone on TN should be parting out a gen3.

"sprawl-mart" is not my creation. thank The Simpsons for another classic parody.

yeah, I like the idea of replacing it also like Knail says, but for the meanwhile until I get to it wanted a quick fix. How hard is to replace one of those bad boys, btw?
