KYB GR2 changes comming up
Hi all,
KYB has decided to move production of the GR2 for Camry to US due to high demand for them. This is done along with a change in factory tooling.
What does it mean to you?
1. the color has changed from gray to black
2. the top of the strut housing (where the rubber bumper contacts the housing when bootoming out) is redesigned
3. the part numbers have changed: old part starts with 334xxx (e.g. rear: 334133, 334133, front: 334245, 334246), new part starts with 2357xx (e.g. rear: 235708,235710, front 235709, 2357??)
The rates have not changed they are still 10-15% stiffer than OEM.
TireRack will get the new stuff around May 12th. They still have the old fronts in stock (no rears).
