Yeah its a 4cyl. 16 valves would mean if it was a v6 it would have 2.667 valves for each cylinder... which it doesn... and 2.2l is too small for a v6

2.2L isnt too small for a V6...Toyota made the 1VZFE, a 2.0L V6, replacement motor for the 2VZFE in the JDM market.

about 130 in the 1992-1994 model, 125 in the 95-96 models. Keep in mind though, on a slushbox (aka automatic tranny) it barely puts 100 horsepower to the wheels.
Not sure about the Gen 4 though, probably about the same as the 92-94 models. I don't know if the Gen 2 used the 5S, i thought they had the 3SFE / 3SGE

The engine put out around 130hp/145ft/lb and the gen2 used the 3sfe. The 3sge was NEVER used in a Camry, regardless of JDM or not or generation. In fact, I don't believe they ever used an engine with a G head design.
