now why would they do that when Toyota Australia just developed an S/C Gen 5 with a 1MZ? I'ma have to order one from Down Under now.

custom turbos? just use a turbo made for the mr-2's, both use the 5sfe engine

i would look at the engine and see what toyota employs for other vehicles such as the avalon and the solara. if anything, you can have your own turbo fabricated, it would be a better idea considering you may get better performance out of the whole thing.

the 1MZFE supercharger by TRD was used for the Solara/Camry/Sienna/Avalon

a 3rd party doesnt manufacture them?.... im confused by this whole TRD labeling, does toyota actually build the Superchargers, or is it a 3rd party?

All the more reason for someone to finally release a turbo kit. Dont even reply about there are some coming out either, ive been hearing that for years.
