4th Generation So friggin' expensive!

I finally go out and have a try! I can't believe I can actually take the emblem off. Thanks for giving me information. I went to Lordco and check first... WOW! 3M Adhesive Remover cost 34CDN! Holy S***. So I end up buying a double side tape for 8 bucks (4.5metres) so it's pretty reasonable. But when I go to Canadian Tire, they have no double side tape (Thank God!) and no adhesive reomover. But the satff say Acetone also work. I check the price it's only 5.99! What a difference. I will show you the pic after my Camry is debaged

you can mix rubbing alcohol + water and try that .. if not, then try mineral spirits paint thinner to remove the adhesive residue

you dont need all that fancy stuff to take off the extra adhesive on your car. All you need is a card, preferably an old credit card or something and scratch off the exess. Claybar works wonders on the area. You wont even see the "ghost imprint" of the emblem when you're done. Goo gone does help a little. Just remember to wax that area after you've taken the emblem off.

I didn't buy the 3M one, I just bought the Acetone 5.99 a container, fair enough

I didn't put a lot to it. I haf a cloth that soak most of the Acetone and beside, Acetone is vaporize fast. I didn't rub it too hard so.... I waxed the area immediately so it turns out fine

LOL
Actually, I am going to put Camry below the V6. It looks more parallel if I leave the Toyota on the top left while Camry is on bottom right

But when I was driving on the street in Vancouver with only my V6 emblem, no people realize that. LOL~
