I want to color the emblems both front and the rear to black. Just like or similar to the GEN 5's SE trim. What paint should I use?? I dont' want to remove the emblem to paint them as I'm planning to only mask around it and just paint it with brush. So any idea what paint I should use that will withstand both hot and REALLY cold temperature of Calgary?
And is the GEN 5's emblem dull black or shiny black?
ALSO, I want to remove the dealership sticker on the rear truck. How should I do this? Rememeber, it is NOT an emblem so I can't use the blowdryer and string method. It is STICKER... any suggestion?
Thank you.

and if you're going to paint the emblems that way...I'd say use some factory paint touch up....it's thick enough that it won't run after application, and it comes with a brush

You could always just use some floss and then use some goo gone to remove the adhesive if any is left. There are many ways to do this, it's just up to you which way you want to do it. I would use touch up paint fpr the emblems like eye8 suggested.
and about the dealership sticker, i am actually kinda worry about the paint might not match after I have remove the sticker...yikes!!
Just use some rubbing compound and a electric buffer(or by hand). I had changes in the depth of my clear coat once i shaved all my emblems. This was due mainly to the trunk lid being repainted not too long ago. I took some rubbing compound to it, then waxed it, now u can't even tell the emblems were ever there.
I would just take the emblems off and use spray paint and clearcoat. Thats how I did my emblems on my gen 3 and it worked fine. The emblems arent hard to get off and you can use some 3m trim/emblem tape (available at places like Meijer, maybe walmart) to put them back on. That way you dont run any risk or spilling or running paint.

most of the toyota emblems are non-pegged (hence why so many people can just use fingernails to get them off) just do what these people said... as for alignment.. .maybe a laser level??
