Camry's muffler pipe

I notice that the muffler pipe of the new Camrys (2004 and 2005) is positioned a little bit too low. It looks like that it is almost touching the ground. I can see that everytime I drive behind a Camry.
Has anyone else noticed this too? What are your opinions.

It's a Toyota thing.... All Camrys have it

mine used to do it till i did the dual set up and now it does it again but that's because of the 3inch pipe

its not low, piping is no lower then the chassis railing down both sides.

All Gen 5 Camry's have their pipes hanging down low like that. I was wondering: if I were to drop my '02 down about an inch in the front and 1.4" in the back, would the pipe become lower as well?

Gen3 and up are all like that, as long as your hangers are OK you shouldn't have an issue. My gen2 routed the exhaust up and over the rear suspension, much more logical if you ask me.

since you are lowering the car, not just the body, then yes.

Yes it is.my pipe always touches when I drive over an uneven surface and it is the only thing that touches. GEN 5.
