Ok, does $150 seem a little high for a gen 3.5 trunk lid to anyone else? And, none of the yards around here even have a hood...

keep lookin...i highly reccomend just going to a U-pull it type junk yard..itl cost like 5 or $10

I called all you "u pull it" places around here. There are no hoods to be had, and a "nice" trunk lid is $150

I'm up around Duluth. I called "Chesney's" "Calvary's" and "Country boy"
no one had hoods, and Chesneys wants 150 for the trunk lid

There's a trunk lid on eBay, but it's going for $185 new.

There's also a primed hood going for $106.

How'd miss those...I guess if I can't find one in state, I'll steal..er, I mean borrow...my moms hood and trunk off her car, cause for some reason, she doesn't care about hail damage. And at this point, it's kinda looking like it would be cheaper to paint both my hood red and give it to her. Then I can paint hers and put it on mine...

I recently had a discussion about used parts prices with a body shop that I have used frequently. He said that since insurance companies have been specifiying used parts so often lately to save themselves $, it's driving up the prices of used parts. The laws of supply and demand come in to play. Just a FYI.

^He hit his car and ruined the front end. So he may be using his stock hood right now. I think i remember he ruined his CF hood.

u pull sells trunk lids for $50 they are in rosemount offa 160th and highway 3
