Question Does Seafoam Foul Plugs / O2 Sensors?

Has anyone here used Seafoam and experienced problems with fouled plugs or O2 sensors? I did 2 treatments through the brake booster yesterday and today (smoked out the neighbourhood! ) . I was reading an old seafoam thread on yotatech today and a few people there seemed to have problems with plugs and sensors a week after treatment.

I was going to do another one today, but now I'm not so sure....

Anyone encountered this on their Cams?

Cool

It shouldn't, but it's been known to foul plugs if the plugs are nearly fouled to begin with...

Hopefully you got the cheapie spark plugs . I spent a lil money and went w/ the bosch double tip platinum, it was a huge waste of money , so I have avoided seafoam.

and for the 5S, ngk v-powers are like $3 a plug (all the time) at advance auto.
This comes out to $12 for all 4. Great bang for the buck.

I have seafoamed my wife's 99 Protege, my 98 camry and then ran about a cup of water through afterwards. Then drove it on the highway right after. No problems so far.

From experience, O2 sensors can get get fouled by unburnt fuel, poor fuel, too much oil in exhaust (leaking valve keepers, That happened to my old caravan before I changed the keepers)

I would suggest try and burn the oxygen sensor with a propane torch, to see if that can burn off some contamination, that worked well for my cavalier, but am unsure if it would work for Air/fuel sensors.
