What's that panel made of, just a piece of metal or something? I made one for my car a few months ago out of a piece of luon (really thin wood) and some swithces from Radio Shack just to mess around, but I like how it looks and I want to get something black...
actually, the switches are some of the most heavy duty switches ive ever seen. i used to have 2 different style switches, bought from 2 different stores, and they were crap. i had them mounted on the screw that is under the hood release latch in Gen4's. It was terrible and i really wanted an easily accessable panel for my lights. The switches included on this are REALLY nice. you can feel that they are quality parts. you wouldnt be disappointed. the only thing i did was go to radioshack and get different LEDs cause the ones included were a little too bright for my taste. but that is a personal preference.
if the switches look like they are facing different directions get ur eyes checked . MAYBE the little metal plates that say "on/off" are slighty misaligned, but that can be fixed in under a second.
im not sure what exactly the panel is made of, but it is really strong, and still relatively thin. no way it would snap or anything like that. I'll find out what it is and post it.
the switches are hooked up to the neons on my car.
and yes, i really have green washer LEDs and a Green Dome Light. I also have a green ash tray light, a green front utility light, and a green cigarette lighter light. Actually, u'd be surprised how nice green is for driving at night. not blinding and lets you see stuff inside the car. and it just looks sweet You can get the green washers anwhere online, and i got the green dome light at Big A or something. i forget tho. i could find out if you want to know tho.
Oh, and hawkeye, with my trim being all black in the car, it does match the interior. and it is reflective which is pretty cool. the green LEDs go great with my lighting scheme too. like i said above, the switches are nowhere near flimsy. I think it would be hard to find switches this nice/sturdy.

i like the switches man... i had a carbon fiber panel like that for a bit, minus the leds in the 99, till i put 3 gauges in that spot... It is very nice if you have stuff to switch while driving, and breaks the ice with somebody in your car, cuz they always ask... "what do those switches do" lol
i had the red push button hooked up to a 120+ decibel siren hahaha

that is awesome. i need something cool to hook up to that red button. cause it is an intermitant connection. so the button has to be depressed for it to turn on whatever is hooked up to it. i was thinkin strobes in my headlights, but 1) that might be interpreted as impersonating an cop and 2) that seems little too rice for my taste. suggestions?
