Could you tell a difference in performance after adding these parts:

Unorthodox Underdrive Crank Pulley
Bosal Brospeed 4-2-1 Header
Magnaflow Resonator and Muffler
Custom Mandrel-bent Exhaust System
High Flow Catalytic Converter
Bosch +4 Platinum Spark Plugs
Sparkco Spark Plug Wires

I was wanting to know because I was considering adding headers, underdrive pulley, and mandrel bent exhaust to my gen3 to give it a little more pep. Im not really into driving fast or racing because I have an automatic. But, is it worth it for the budget minded tuner such as myself; or should I just save up for something big (i.e. turbo, 3sgte head, or 3stge swap?

The only mod that produced noticeable gains (according to the butt dyno) are the exhaust system and the headers. Those two mods are well grounded theoretically, and backs it up with a nice pull at the high RPMs.

The spark plugs is a 99% maintenance issue, and may give you better fuel economy and a smoother running ride. But it will not give you any real HP gains. The wires are aesthetics only. It will not give you any gains.

The high-flow cat was installed with the cat-back exhaust, so I can't tell you what gains it gave. But I expect it to be negligible.

The crank pulley is a bit more suspect. There is a lot of controversy about whether it is good for the engine in the long run. The butt dyno says the gains are small. But theoretically, the idea of a lightened and underdrive pulley makes sense. However, even if you knock off some weight at the pulley end of the crankshaft, it is still driving a heavy flywheel/clutch or driveplate at the other end. So again, its a drop in the bucket.

As for budget, I think these small mods can give you a quick fix while you're saving for something bigger. I would recommend starting with the mandrel-bent exhaust first.
