4th Generation Camry pulling to the right on highway

2000 LE 4cyl. 81000miles.
tires/rims are relatively new. About 10K on Michellin MXV4 plus.

Anyway, I was on a highway and i noticed that my car pulled to the right a bit. If i travelled over 200-300yrds without holding the steering wheel, my right wheel will be touching the white dividing lines of the highway.

Prior to that, I could just not hold the steering wheel and it could go in a straight line. Did not drive my car for the past 2 weeks..

Checked the tires and rims, everything seems OK. After checking the tires at the rest area, tire pressure of the right tires were 1 psi less than the right tires but that should not have caused the car to pull to the right.

I am a bit concerned. Is it the alignment???
Thx

I don't know the technical word but in toyota that adjestment is not available, even you do allignment.

but switch front right to front left, and front left to front right. that will resolve the problem.

Hope this help.

Yup, it's called Caster. You can only adjust the Toe and Camber(if you have the bolts)

You might have a radial pull, try switching the left and right front tires. That might fix it or make it pull left.

If you can't get rid of the problem, throw a few psi in that right front tire

I have that caster problem. My frame is bent so I'm used to mine pulling to the side.

same as a control arm, it runs from the bottom of the front strut to the body

By any chance did you hit anything recently? Perhaps hard braking or gravel? I would think a big jolt would cause the A-arm to bend...you will remember it if any.

A Camry gen 4 pulls to the right, too. And did gave a few extra psi to the right front. It is better on take off (does not pull to right as much) and could sustain in a straight line a bit longer. The downside of this is the steering wheel vibrate at high speed, and hopefully it will not affect on sudden braking. BTW, earlier model of gen4 do suffer from the struts problem

it could have just been the wind....strong winds usually push cars to the side when going maybe over 60...drive the car now see if anything changed
