Cool

Can't bypass the rev limiter. Gotta go to a stand alone management, or something like ahve an SMT, or Unichip squential fire the injectors.

But what they said... You don't need any more rpm. Let's face it... On thes tock tire/transmission/differential for a v6, if you could PULL the stock rev limits you'd be over 200mph.

You don't need rpm, you need power.

Bullshit.

It's an ignition cut style rev limiter. You pickup an MSD 6AL and external coil and you can just alter the ignition cut at will. I don't believe the ignition limiter is built into the ECU in any way.

You can then just pick where you want the cut to be.

For the sake of being realistic, you'll need new valve springs (you should be ok with stock ones), new cams (otherwise you won't do shit at 7k, you'll actually lose power), an E153, new rods, a valve job, fuel system upgrades to handle the higher rpm.

if u have the v6 1MZ-FE then u get all ur HP @ around 5000-5400rpms and peak torque @ around 4400rpms...after that HP & TQ go down...(unless for some reason u have done an engine swap to a rotorary engine )

take a look at the typical dyno...HP/TQ go up, peak, and then begin to drop, then redline. no reason to stay in gear while ur losing power just to be at 7000rpm...doesnt make sense...

also, but correct if i'm wrong, camrys have pretty long gears compared civics, tegs, etc. and long gears better to top end, but not so good for quick acceleration (by the time i shift outta 1st, a teg is more than midway thru 2nd, from my experience).

There are no easy, cheap ways for serious performance, except those provided by toysrme...

Its a good standalone computer. Expensive though.

Unless you got some serious engine mods, you don't need it.

This is the same guy that wanted to remove his speed limiter? I wonder where all these inquiries are leading to.

missle in the trunk.....mt everest slope......just a few ideas to make the car faster

seriously...I would focus more on the engine....my Gen3 V6 did 142 max....JDM 5 speed SE if you want to know how, but you need to do what crwlingeye said...otherwise useable power beyond a certain point is BS.... my max torque is at 4400...and beyond that..gains are gradual
