Friend got new accord

ok so his parents bought him a completely new accord 2.2L Vtec I4. being that my gen4 camry is a 2.2L 5sfe......we made a pact that on the day of graduation of college....we will race (of course we will both have our cars fully moded up) for bragging rights. right now were both 17 and seniors in high school. well just thought id let you guys know. you know my 5sfe will be full on performance insides......and i will be that bitch ass VTEC!!!!!

btw - we both have automatics, and i think both us will have to swap....so we are pretty even

check out the burien turbo kit if you are serious- 5sfte for you. my guess is that he has much more aftermarket support so you are going to need to do a lot of work. i would first go with bolt ons, then go for bigger stuff- just a few suggestions!

Yeah spiral max is a waste. Gude Performance makes a head package for the 5sfe engine. It includes a ported and polished intake mainifold, throttle body, camshafts, and possibly an ecu.

 right.. all those mods... right.....

but for real.. 6th gens accords are slow ONLY when stock but if your buddy there Swaps in for a H22a OBD-1 Motor or wants to get creative and do a h23a bottom end with a h22a Vtec head with LSD with a VFAC controller, Basic Boltons I/H/E 5 angle port and polish JUN cams AEM Pullies, JE cam gears, AEM fuel rail and a B&M FPR, And THEN go Turbo maybe with a FMAX kit or be create and make his own.. Turbo mated with a bottom end of a h23 motor can create lots of torque.. yes you heard me torque!

in other words done the proper way with a good plan both your cars can be really fast... now... just imagine if he had this motor in his accord

And remember i love camrys too
