People don't hate on the automatic Camry's..... It's all about how u drive that b i t c h!!!!! I Have have raced a few time in my stock 1991 Camry DX..and i have one a few and got flown by on some... but the down side is that the control really isn't there u have to know when u can shift from that sweet low gear into that darn drive..... and if anybody can help with a list of things that could possible fit on my car plz let me know.

No matter how you "drive the b i t c h", you're still dealing with the inherent losses of the torque converter and automatic transmission design. Also, you're short at least one gear with an auto. There's no rev matching, no skip-a-gear shifts.

On the other hand, if you keep racing the thing and shifting the hell out of it, you're paving the way to a possible tranny swap.

Automatics will be slow and well wait not quite always slow.. if you Drop in a level10 torque converter.. but nether the less 5peed...or 6speed will always be better ....gosh i miss having a 5 speed...
