4th Generation ABS/Trac Off Warning Indicator

In the past 3 or 4 weeks, once when sitting at idle and once when I was driving, the ABS light came on my dash and the "Trac Off" indicator started flashing. Once was today, the other was several weeks ago. When I shut the car off, in both instances, and restarted it, they lights were off and were fine. There was a large gap of time between the two occurences. I think I remember a third time probably about 2 or 3 months ago, after installing my intake, it came on a few days after it was installed, while sitting at idle, and again I shut the car off and restarted and then it was fine again.

anybody had this problem? the manual says that it is a "problem with the ABS system" but i went to toyota not too long ago and everything checked out fine. and i get tune ups regularly.

could this have anything to do with the intake/exhaust system i put on?

Thanks in advance for the help all

Hey check with your local auto parts store, i dunno if new york has an autozone or kragen but they give free code readings with their scan tools. Find out the codes and go from there.
