Pedal Brake to Hand Brake? - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

When I was wiring up some floor lights i noticed that the control for the parking brake was still in the center console and is just cabled to the pedal. I HATE PEDAL BRAKES! I was wondering if making it a hand brake is as easy as getting the handle and center console and swapping the parts?

it is real easy to do. i did mine about 4 mounths ago. the hard part is getting the old one out and that isnt that hard.( but i hope you are skinny, and can get your self under your dash to see) it took less then 1 hr.

I have the handbrake...I couldn't deal with a footbrake on that car
