Wiper Aids... What is that?

I searched in the forum but no result. I saw a camry last weekend and I notice there are metal plates installed on the wiper. When I take a closer look it says "Wiper Aid". I wondered what is that thing actually do? Thanks!

If it's a little curved fin on top of the wiper blade or arm, those are usually to generate down force on the wiper so that it does not lift off the glass at high speed.

thay are crap you spend more time putting them back in place then your wipers are on.

If you are not having any problems with your wipers lifting off at high speed currently, do not expect them to have any effect when you have them on your car.
