Australia Aussie Sportivo V6 Engine

i am just asking out of pure curiousity

with Australian Spec Gen5/5.5 Camry V6....

according to Toyota, the V6 gives:
Max Power 141kW@5200rpm
Max Torque 279Nm@4400rpm

and the Sportivo/Azura V6 engine gives:
Max Power 145kW@5200rpm
Max Torque 284Nm@4400rpm

i know it is not much, if anything , but where did they get the extra 4kWs and 5Nm from?

its the exact same engine, 1MZ-FE (non-vvti), and with a visual inspection the Normal and Sportivo engines look exactly the same
no difference in headers, exhaust, muffler etc etc as far as i can see...

any ideas?

The difference is that the sportivo stock muffler is different to normal normal v6. they have backpressure muffler that gives additional 4 kws. i read it once on the brochure of GEN5's
