4th Generation Clear corners

Does anyone know why they say "INCLUDES (2) AMBER BULBS AND SOCKETS!"

Why the sockets? are they different sockets than what the stock camry has?
I dont want to have to start cutting and tapping into my marker wiring just to slap
on some clear corners...
Shouldnt the stock socket on the car fit into the clear corners as is?

i think when they mean socket, they are refering to the sockets for the amber bulbs.
I would not worry if I were you.
Do not have to cut anything. Just a quick remove and bolt on.

sockets are what the bulbs plug into, you then plug the socket (with the bulb attached) into the light housing.

understand that?

Exactly... The Socket is what the bulb plugs into... (wiring harness on the car)
So why would they include the socket, if its part of the car?

The socket is detached and plugs in the harness; my socket got corroded when water got in the corner, and it swaps right out. even if yours are fine, it can't hurt to have extras.

Anybody had some water problems on the Clears that they bought off ebay? Makoto Auto Trends? I have water/condensation on my 95 Bumper Clears. I tried to contact them for replacement, but so far, no reply. Bad situation.

I was lucky on the Corners which i bought off a member here.

Beware!

2 clear corners cheaper than 1 OEM???

Am I missing something here? I need a new turn signal (OEM lets water in), and I find I can get a pair of clear corners for $30 HERE or pay $36 for one with the yellow HERE.
I wasn't even thinking about modding, but, hey, why not? Now if I can find a grille idea that's more "luxury" than "sport"....
