I just recently bought the V6 ebay intake and it messed up my car!!!!!! I thought it would be so much easier to buy this instead of doing the DIY and have to drill holes and everything. The tube going to the throttle body is too small and caused my car to cut back and sputter after 30mins of driving..Just a warning!! I actually had to force the tube on....I didn't think this would be a problem. Here is the thread I started because of the initial problem.
The opening on the intake valve is too small too.. Thanks for your observation though...The only way for it to work is to make the valve larger on the intake and use a larger hose.
This is the seller I bought it from...I reset the ECU like 4 times!!! As soon as I put the stock tube back in it worked perfectly. The hose IS too small. But it would defeat the purpose for me to put in a larger tube if the valve hole is still too small on the intake. I am going to try and contact them to get my money back or something. They need to rethink the idea.
Quote from chat, "Chris I keep telling you man... It's not how you use it, it's the size of your hose!".
It's probably just as likely the guy is making the pipes in his basement, and his welds were shitty and leaking.
