Engine rattle turns out to be quite a problem

hey everybody, I had an engine rattle sound last week in my 03 camry 4cyl with ~32000 miles. I searched this forum, some people have similar sounds. I went to the dealership thinking that it might be the heat shield or something else that came loose, but it turned to be a crack in the intake manifold. so if you got a loud rattling sound especially during idle and gets louder during acceleration, have it checked out soon. Does your Gen5 4-cyl come with plastic intake manifolds?

how quick did it take the mechanic to spot out the problem? I too brought my camry back to have it fixed but they said it was my Pully. Which the Rattle still exist in my car
