Oil Drain Plug Gasket

HI all:
While changing oil in my 2002 camry (2AZFE) and found out that it didnt have oil drain plug gasket. I used to have one extra gasket from my 1992 corolla that seemed to fit this plug so I used it for this camry. Now after 24 hrs of changing it, I notice that oil drips, very slowly, underneath pan from oil plug. Was there something wrong I did? Should I drain fully re seal the plug ?
Appreciate your insights folks-

Tighten the drain plug a little bit more. But not more than 36 ft-lbs. If it doesnt work, buy a new drain plug gasket and try again. If you clean your oil collecting tray very well, you could reuse your oil again.

thanks

I tightened it again. But if it drips again, then probably I am gonna just get new gasket and refill the new oil (drain pan is as dirty as it could get).

FYI, The gaskets are about 80 cents from my local dealer.

Just get another gasket. You're willing to blow a motor that costs big $$$ for an $.80 gasket?

I'm sure it had a gasket, sometimes it gets stuck on the plug and you gotta get it out.
