3rd Generation Widest and thickest tires possible with no RUB!

Please guys don't say rolling in the fenders or what not. I have 95 V6 with Tokico and Eibach setup which supposedly gives 1" front and back since it's a V6. I had 225/45/17 with no problem before. I am going to 18" in the next two weeks and need to know 110% what is the widest and thickest I can go because I live in NYC the city and millions of potholes out there! Can I go 225/40/18 or even 235/40/18 without rubbing? Or just go 215/40/18 to be safe?

Thanks man! Here is the exact offset, damnit, keep on forgetting that MAJOR info, the website suggested 215/40/18 but I really want 225/40/18. So I should go with 225/40/18 huh UfoZ?

I'm planning on getting the Eibach drop on my Gen 5 which is 1.6" in the front and 1.1" in the back (or something like that)... and I'm planning on getting 18x7.5 wheels with 225/40/18... and from what I've been told from EVERYONE that i've asked is that I would still have plenty of room in between my wheel, my fender, and my struts.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

So in other words.... 225/40/18 or you said go with the 45 series and do 225/45/18?
