Hey guys I was just wondering is there such thing as a 130D automatic transmission in a gen2 camry? The guy at the local tranny shop is going to hook me up and rebuild my REALLY cheap but he says that it is a 140E and the skip plate on the bottom says that it is a 130D.

What engine do you have??
If you've got the 3SFE 4cyl, it should be the A140E.

Yes I have the 3sfe but the only reason I was asking is because of the air dam on the bottom of the car in the front says (a/t 130D).

I dont know what 130D is, but i would ignore it. if you have an 87-88 camry without a power ect button you have a a140L. if you have a power ect button, you have the a140E.

your car isnt 4WD is it?

No it's not 4wd but it does have the sport/normal switch between the driver and passenger front seats by the parking brake handle.
