HELP --> turn signals :(

Hi, i recently got my red/clear tail lights installed onto my 94 camry and they look great, but in addition to that, i changed the orange bulbs to red LED ones. The problem isn't here though... The problem is that the turn signal is 2x as fast as it was before. For example, instead of the TICK, 1, 2 TICK, 1, 2, TICK, now it's like TICK TICK TICK TICK TICK. You get the picture. I like the fast signaling but the TICKS are soooo loud and annoying. Is there a way to soften the ticking sounds? Also, is the fast ticking because of the tail lights that i changed and how they wired it or is it because i got the red LED bulbs that make the ticking? Like a X-mas tree, if you place a blinking bulb on one of the bulb slots, the rest of the bulbs will start blinking. Is it a matter of the different bulbs or the light itself? Please gimme some help! ty...

You replaced the turn signal bulbs with LED ones? That's likely the problem.

What's probably happening is it's drawing less power than the stocks, and the car believes you have a turn signal out.. so it blinks rapidly.

As for fixing it.. well....... you got me.

kgasso is absolutely correct- the new LED bulbs dont draw as much power, so the car will blink fast as a warning that something is not attached/burned out. if you really want to fix it, look for LED's that are the same power draw as the stock bulbs. that should make it normal...
