Question sway bars - any difference?

do swaybars make a significant difference? i'm planning to get TRD springs and Tokico struts for my gen4.5. just wondering if Whiteline FSB and a TRD RSB will make my handling better.

it'll give you tighter handling when making high speed turns. I felt the difference when I installed my SPW strut bar.

not like doing a while suspension upgrade, but for the $ it helps. Reduces chassis flex when cornering above 50-60MPH. And I am not talking out the ass, since I tried 2 different strut bars before getting a SPW, and drive with and without the bars on several different occasions in under a 48 hour period.

I think it a good upgrade. Simple, cheap, and it works.

btw, where did you order your clear tail lights?

not sure if the SPW bar might really work in terms of reducing flexing cos I have heard many stories that the engine mounted sway bar does not work. Just from reading the posting on this forum.

The whiteline does definately work. Do a search and see what problems u need to address to when installing...

He's talking about SWAY bars not STRUT bars.

And yes, sway bars are probably the one of the BEST things you can upgrade in your suspension system.

a rear sway bar will definetly make ur car rotate easier. becareful though sometimes a rear sway can cause some serious oversteer(kinda freaky if your not used to it). however, if u are installing a well balanced suspension it can be a great investment!!!

I agree. Got mine put in last week and the handling feels great.

I heard that TRD is a rebandage KYB.
Eibach has good reviews.
So does TEIN. Tein would drop the front more as opposed to the back, so that the tire gap in the front will smaller.

Any reviews on H&R springs?

wouldn't recommend eibach, I broke two eibach springs...they did send me new ones, but my H&R's are working better than the eibachs ever did, and they have lasted longer and retained their spring longer.

really? i heard that eibachs were the best springs and tokico combined with it would be a really great combo....

I'm thinking that i'll just stick with TRD stuff..........Bilstein struts with eibach springs.
