3rd Generation Does the e-brake work the same as it does with other cars?

Well I'm making a video for my marketing class, and I want to do a little drift vid, or oversteer since its FWD.. and was wondering, will the ebrake work the same as other cars?

I'm refering as to how the ebrake on the 94 v6's are located by the left leg, sorta looks like a clutch.

How would i go about doing an ebrake drift and doing a 180 to parallel park?

The reason why im saying this is because on other cars you can control the ebrake but this type of ebrake its kind of like an on off switch.

Push down, then push again. Although its not the best way to drift... I probably wouldnt even bother. Convert it to the hand brake

Cool

The E brake is a drum-in-disk. Next to worthless from a performance aspect. They do good for about a month of spirited driving. Then the tiny brake shoes wear out!

just ram down the pedal untill the rear wheel locks up, then release it with your left hand while calculating the drift with your right hand on the steering wheel - apply throttle when necessary

make sure youre on gravel or wet pavement and you should be good to go - also, it's best that you bring a big stick to beat away all the babes after they see you drift your grocery getter on gravel.

I have the middle eastern one with the gen 5 cam, the quality isnt that great and it doesn't really fit in with the rest of the video.

BTW, I just tried the whole ramming the pedal down and pullin the ebrake, and it didn't work out so good.

I drifted my Camry on snow with the footwell e-brake. Impressed the hell out of all the bystanders at college, . Snow is the only thing i have done it on.

It was fun to go down a lane of parking spots at 15mph, hit the e-brake and make a QUICK turn of the wheel, just as the rear end starts to come out, pull the lever and release the e-brake and FLOOR the gas...........did a PERFECT drift and went straight up the next lane without taking the foot off the gas! ........Damn I wish I got the on video!
