Gen5 Difference b/t strut's

What is the difference (other than price and make) of these two strut bars, i noticed that the cheap ones have a joint that seem like they will allow the body to sway some... But is it really worth it splurge and get the TRD bar? please help.

1. Ebay Strut bar $25
2. Ebay Strut bar $40
3. TRD Strut Bar $200+

Cool

You get what you pay for.

The cheap ones simply flex and don't accomplish much.

I'd stick with TRD. Mainly because I have a TRD License Plate on front of my car, so I need something to represent TRD on my car. Oh wait, I already have the strut bar for my camry. Silly me.

fitment and functionality..

Here's my thread about my SPW strut bar:
http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t77684.html

You might not have the same problem with the gen5 but I know on the gen4.5 the V6 and 4cyl have clearance issues...

Good evening. Everyone.

This is E.lam and I'm new to TN. Is the TRD swaybar really performs much better than the stock one. Because I was thinking about changing my rear swaybar also. Because I feel my 2002 Camry sway a bit too much. However, I'm afraid that is just waste of money. Therefore, I'm changing all the struts first and see if that is any improvment.
Since I'm trying to change the rear strut myself. Can someone tell me how to remove the rear strut? Because I couldn't locator the nuts for the raer strut tower. It is all covered. Can someone please advise? Best regards.

yeah i'm a bit curious.....i have the SE suspension and stock rear sway bar so you would think it would be REALLY good because SEs are lower than LEs right?

would upgrading from SE Sway Bar to TRD a noticeable improvement?

thank you to all that replied, and by the sounds of it, people that have TRD parts are just parcial and have the bling as opposed to others who use the substitues. and thanks to "skewe" phat site!

Thank you for the advises on the TRD sway bar.
Does anyone know how to remove the rear Strut on the 2002 Camry? Do I need to remove any panels? Because I opened the trunk & remove the carpeting and still could NOT see the strut tower. I just don't want to rip my car apart. If you know what I mean. I do appreciate any comment.
Thanks.

nahcmal, if im not mistaken the rear sway bar is underneath your car, not inside. Jack up the rear end and you should see a black bar that runs Right <-> Left on the rear axle.

Thanks DJ-torn.
But I'm also looking to replace my rear struts. I have already change my front with the KYB. However I'm NOT too happy with the result. Therefore, I want to change the rear also. I have tried to contact other TN members for advise. So far, I didn't get any good response yet.
Thanks again for your input.

If it's like the gen 4.5 (which I'm assuming that if you can't see it after pulling your trunk carpeting out it is), the strut tops can be accessed from within the car. Pull out your rear speaker deck and pull your rear seat backing away... it should be there.

Thank you. Both Big Body LX & Skewe.
I will try it from within the car. Is there anything I should be aware of?
Once again, thanks for all the help.
