that was about 1 meter behind and 1/2 meter to the side of the car

first rev was on load (in D, power braking)
2nd, 3rd (rev limit), 4th all in P.

I know you have custom headers and a Y-pipe, what other exhaust/engine work do you have done?

i have stock manifold, (which if you actaully look at them, seems to be made quite well if my theory behind how hteyre made is correct lol..

2" straight downpipes into a = y collector = flex = cat = rest of exhasut.

intake is K&N panel with slightly opened up stock air box.

nothing else engine wise.

What kind of muffler?

I'm going muffler-less for pure engine sound

How so? When you have a strong engine sound stock, what need is there for a muffler to manipulate the sound? The 3vz has a great stock sound (I ran it while the exhaust was unhooked). So how can you say it is disgusting, unless you have listened to a free flowing 3vz before..... Also considering you have no idea what-so-ever what I have done to my car. Your really can't say that.

the muffler is a simple oval construction one with 2.5" in and out, straight though desgn with glasspack filling... think those cannon mufflers, then make the outer body a normal oval shape :P

theres pics at my site -- check link

and yes the 3vz sounds so sweet unrestricted :P i would go mufflerless if these engines werent so damn loud -- or if it was turboed :P

about the stock headers, theyve been made so it looks liek the exhasut gas pulses do not collide each other, and go down into the downpipes at a even pulse <-- this = good think tuned lenght with as little lenght as possible :P or somethign liek that
